The first picture was of my dog. He was just laying there while the sun was keeping him warm, thought it would be a good shot. The second pictute was taken in my moms backyard. The leaf was just sitting there and I thought getting a nice close up would show a nice shadow from the sun. The second picture was taken
I do like the leaf shot from a formal point of view...The values are well describes with no blow outs or blocked areas... the depth of field fall off (focus) is excellent.
